Jane Fonda aerobic workouts, and competitive body building in the late eighties, sparked my health and fitness path in Melbourne Victoria.
In 1990 I moved to the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, where I worked in gyms and gained experience writing and teaching members their training programs. As the Health and Fitness industry boomed in Australia, a new exciting job tile and career path was created. This led me to become a qualified personal fitness trainer.
My first career highlight happened in 1991 when I trained the movie star Christopher Lambert. Famous for his roles in the movies such as Greystroke the legend of Tarzan and Highlander. He came out to the Gold Coast to star in a movie called Fortress.
To further my career in 1996 I moved to Double Bay in Sydney for a year, and trained high profile clients such as Fashion Designer Alex Perry, and the late Princess Diana, when she stayed in Sydney at the Ritz Carlton.
Having gained a successful reputation in Sydney as “Trainer to the Rich and Famous” I returned home and began my own Personal Fitness Training business called ‘Juz Do It’ specializing in training programs designed for working out at home.
In 1997 created a small business called Breath Is Life Productions and produced two successful Australian Yoga Video’s. Yoga Breath is Life and the Intermediate Yoga Breath is Life 11. ‘Yoga Breath Is Life was Australia’s Best Selling Yoga Video in 1998.’
I cannot remember the reason, but I needed to take a break from Personal Fitness Training for a few years. In this time I married, divorced, dabbled in Art and reinvented myself in 2013.
In 2013, the inspiration for the Keep Life Simple blog was born, after overwhelming feedback that I received from a headline-making article that I wrote the Brisbane Sunday Courier Mail. I had women emailing me wanting to know how I stayed in shape. So I created this platform to teach women how they can age with a toned body, vitality and sexiness.
It’s never too late for a woman to start taking care of her ageing health and well-being. So don’t put yours off any longer, I’m here guide you if you let me so that your ageing path becomes the positive journey.
