Orthodox medicine, also called allopathic medicine, biomedicine, conventional medicine, mainstream medicine, and Western medicine. It is a system in which medical doctors or other healthcare professionals (such as nurses, pharmacists, and therapists) treat symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation, or surgery.
Pharmaceuticals should only be used unless it’s absolutely necessary, and only use medication according to its intended use. Too many of us today reach for the quick fix, Band-Aid cure of pharmaceuticals. A healthy body is a master at healing itself. Whenever you can treat a problem or condition without pharmaceuticals long term, it can be the better and safer path to choose.
