This subject is close to my heart because fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks at forty- two it wasn’t because I was over training, stressed, or overworked. Lucky for me, I was prepared when it happened, and I knew what to do.
My body was telling me that something wasn’t right, so it was time to make an appointment with “super doc”. That’s what I call my hormone specialist who helps keep my fluctuating hormones in happy.

Are you a woman that is usually quite energetic, but now in your early to late forties you are constantly tired? Do your usual activities exhaust you? And with hormonal decline comes nasty peri-menopause symptoms, which affect every woman differently; in my case, it was loss of energy. Peri-menopausal hormonal loss can be a mixed bag of negative symptoms and behaviors that can ultimately ruin relationships and significantly affect your life. It’s best to nip the symptoms in the bud, before they get a chance to rear their ugly heads.
What I find hard to believe is that some women still push peri menopause symptom’s aside, and accept that it’s all part of getting older. You don’t have to be a martyr, and choose to do nothing; don’t let your health and your lifestyle deteriorate as the years pass by. Don’t rely on pharmaceutical drugs to make you feel better either, the people behind that industry don’t have your best interests at heart, and it’s not a healthy or long-term solution.
What woman wants to live a life zapped of their energy and just not being herself? Not I, and hopefully, not you. Having a lack of energy reduces your quality of life, and those around you suffer too, because they are not receiving the best of you.
